Notes to Jayarāśi

1. It is an extrapolated verse, included aldso in the Āraṇyaka-parvan of the Mahā-bhārata (MBh 3, Appendix I, 32.65-68, p. 1089); it occurs also in the narrative literature, e.g., it is quoted in the colophon of Kathā-saṅgraha (Tripāṭhī 1975, 288).
